OUR PROGRAMS
Teaching programs service selected inpatient units and day programs daily, providing specialist educational support for primary and secondary students who are in hospital. Specialist teachers are on staff and others are accessed as needed. We also provide outpatient liaison programs through hospital and CAMHS clinic referrals to assist students with ongoing health needs to improve their engagement in learning or return to school. Teaching staff work within inter-disciplinary teams to support the educational needs of priority students, including those with chronic health conditions. Strong partnerships are built with students, parents, enrolled schools, clinical staff, health professionals and other SSEN:MMH colleagues.
